Amanda Martin-Hamon

Amanda Martin-Hamon is the Associate Director of K-12 Education at the Spencer Museum of Art, University of Kansas. Over the last twenty years, she has held positions in both museum education and leadership. Beyond her museum work, she was a reviewer of the current national visual arts standards, and past president of the Kansas Alliance for the Arts in Education. She is also on the boards of the Kansas Alliance for the Arts in Education and the Kansas Art Education Association and has presented at numerous local and national conferences, published articles in Art Education and the Journal of Museum Education, and co-authored a chapter about her collaboration with a university pharmacy professor in Academic Museums: Exhibitions and Education.

Kristina Walker

Kristina Walker has been with the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas in Lawrence for 24 years. As Director of Education since 2004, Walker oversees the development, production, and evaluation of interpretative materials and experiences that engage visitors with the Museum’s collection and special exhibitions. Her current focus is on developing strategies for incorporating emerging technologies into interpretive materials and strengthening engagement with Youth and Family audiences and University and College students.
